3 TCM TREATMENTS TO STOP NOSEBLEEDS

Nosebleeds is a pretty common occurrence in young kids- almost everyone experiences a nosebleed in their lifetime. It may be due to a fall, or when you picked your nose too hard, or it may happen just suddenly while you’re sitting at your desk doing your work as usual. This often happens when the lining of your nose becomes too dry due to the environment you are, whether its the winter season or due to air conditioning.

While these reasons are not any cause for alarm, sometimes a nosebleed can happen due to an underlying medical reason. Certain medications can cause the lining of your nose to thin, causing a nosebleed. However, it may also be a sign of nasopharyngeal cancer. TCM Perspective

While many experience nosebleeds once in a while, some have as many as 2-3 nosebleeds per week. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, the cause of a nosebleed is due to the functioning of major organs such as the lungs, stomach and intestines.
