Honey has natural antibacterial properties that can speed up healing for sore throats. Add two tablespoons of honey to your favourite tea or a warm glass of water and stir well. Using warm water can help to better ease the soreness in your throat.
For better quality honey, opt for manuka honey. Though it is more expensive, it is considered one of the best types of honey for its high antibacterial properties. Besides that, it aids in healing wounds and helps in digestion as well. Other than drinking honey, you can also eat a tablespoon of manuka honey for sore throat.
