    • Obesity: Unhealthy lifestyle puts on extra weight which causes more pressure on the leg veins, increasing the likelihood of developing spider veins are compared to ladies who are lighter. 
    • Sedentary Lifestyle: Exercising is good for improving blood circulation around the body. Lack of exercise, on the other hand, can cause blood flow to slow down!  
    • Work: If you work in the retail department which requires you to stand for long periods of time, this can greatly increase your risk of developing spider veins too.

    3. Exercise daily. Even a brisk walk daily for 30 minutes can help to improve your blood circulation and keep a healthy weight so that it does not put more pressure on the veins. 
    4. Compression stockings. Invest in a good one that can help to increase the blood flow in the legs! 
    5. Lose tight clothing. Tight clothes, especially those that are tight around your waist and legs are not good for blood flow! 

While spider veins are usually cosmetic in nature, you might want to visit a doctor if you notice any abnormalities, such as throbbing pain, itchiness or a burning sensation.
